New Year’s Eve 2019 events in San Francisco CA

It’s amazing to think that another year has gone by already. Indeed, we are just about ready to say farewell to 2019 as we welcome 2020 with open arms. New Year’s Eve is a big-time celebration night for many people, and San Francisco certainly has more than its share of events taking place to give 2019 one last shout-out. We’ve selected a few New Year’s Eve 2019 events in San Francisco, CA for you to consider.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

These days, no New Year’s Eve/Day celebration is complete without a fireworks display! It’s like the 4th of July in the middle of winter! At midnight, enjoy the spectacular waterfront fireworks, which can be seen from many different vantage points.

Moonlight New Year’s Eve Fireworks Party Cruise

One such vantage point where you can see those dazzling fireworks is out in the water on a luxurious yacht! Before the big display, guests can enjoy delicious food and great music. You’ll need tickets for this event, so be sure to reserve them soon!

Passport to the World 2020

How about joining what the Huffington Post referred to as the “glitziest” New Year’s Eve party in San Francisco? Take a trip around the world at this extraordinary, upscale festivity without ever leaving the glamorous setting of The Westin St. Francis.

New Year’s Eve with Seth MacFarlane and the SF Symphony

The “Family Guy” creator doesn’t just do silly voices—he has quite the singing talent, too! Starting at 8PM on New Year’s Eve, enjoy a concert rife with homages to the style of Dean Martin and the like at Davies Symphony Hall.

Pier 39 Nightly Tree Lighting

While New Year’s Eve means Christmas is in the rearview mirror, you still have a chance to enjoy the decorative scenery by going to the Pier 39 tree lighting show, which is happening nightly through January 5th. The whole family can enjoy watching the astonishing lights synchronized to holiday music!

This is just a taste of what is out there in the Bay Area on New Year’s Eve, but we thought we’d throw a handful of suggestions here for you. Whether you go to one of these or another event, or whether you stay home with the family for a smaller get-together, we hope you have a safe and happy New Year!
