Still, between the gridiron action, you can find plenty to be entertained by, as the big game is also known for having loads of entertaining commercials. Some people watch the game ONLY for the commercials! Did you happen to catch the advertisement for the new, redesigned Highlander? You may have seen a familiar face or two. What happened in the 2020 Highlander Super Bowl commercial?

The driver of the slick new Highlander is Cobie Smulders, who is best known as playing Robin in the TV series “How I Met Your Mother.” She also played a supporting role in the Avengers/Marvel movies and has recently starred in the TV series “Stumptown.” 

The commercial, which is entitled “Heroes,” stars Smulders as sort of an action hero driving the Highlander who arrives on the scenes of a variety of different disastrous situations, rescuing someone who is in danger, including someone at the scene of some kind of alien attack! Of course, she has plenty of room for all of these people in the spacious Highlander. The commercial is meant to highlight how much room the vehicle has, as well as touch on the fun spirit of the Highlander. Watch the ad below!
