The new fourth-generation Highlander is completely redesigned

Toyota has just unveiled the newly redesigned 2020 Toyota Highlander, and you can immediately see that it has a sleeker and more aggressive design for a new era. We want to go over some of the 2020 Toyota Highlander standard and available features and specifications to get you set for this versatile vehicle! more Have you seen the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime? 2020 Toyota Highlander design Upon first glance, you might mistake the 2020 Toyota Highlander for a luxury SUV, and who could blame you! With this bold new design, the Highlander offers a new sense of sophistication and craftsmanship. The new Highlander is built on a new Toyota vehicle platform known as Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA-K), which allows for even more capability and comfort. The sweeping lines of the Highlander aren’t just for show. This aerodynamic shape allows for greater efficiency as well as a reduction in wind noise for a more comfortable experience inside. The L, LE, and XLE trims feature a black front grille lined with silver trim. The Limited and Platinum models offer up a black grille with chrome trim as well as a chrome-plated lower rear fascia, premium projector headlamps, and 20-inch allow wheels, which are firsts on the Highlander. Additionally, the Platinum further distinguishes itself with a silver-painted front bumper and rear fascia. Inside, the cabin is tailored to the comfort of the driver and passengers, and a maximum cargo capacity of 84.3 cubic feet is available behind the front-row seats. Performance Non- hybrid versions of the 2020 Toyota Highlander come equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine capable of doling out 295 horsepower and 263 lb -ft of torque, ensuring a peppy and spirited ride every time. This also allows for a maximum towing capacity of 5,000 pounds when equipped with the available towing package. Standard safety features Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 is a standard feature on all 2020 Highlander models. This suite of smart safety features includes Automatic High Beams, the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Crise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Lane Tracing Assist, and Road Sign Assist. Those last two features are new for this model year. Infotainment An eight-inch touchscreen is offered on the L, LE, XLE, and Limited models, while that size gets bumped up to 12.3 inches on the top-tier Platinum trim. Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto, Alexa In-Car compatibility, Waze, SiriusXM®, and Wi-Fi connectivity are all standard in the Highlander, and with the XLE, Limited, and Platinum trims, Dynamic Navigation is available. It’s like the 4 th of July in the middle of winter! At midnight, enjoy the spectacular waterfront fireworks, which can be seen from many different vantage points. Moonlight New Year’s Eve Fireworks Party Cruise One such vantage point where you can see those dazzling fireworks is out in the water on a luxurious yacht! Before the big display, guests can enjoy delicious food and great music. You’ll need tickets for this event, so be sure to reserve them soon! Passport to the World 2020 How about joining what the Huffington Post referred to as the “glitziest” New Year’s Eve party in San Francisco? Take a trip around the world at this extraordinary, upscale festivity without ever leaving the glamorous setting of The Westin St. Francis. A new high-performance PHEV Toyota RAV4 is on the way

When will the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime be available to buy? The RAV4 has long been a hugely popular vehicle in the Toyota lineup, and in 2019 it received a major redesign to keep things fresh and moving forward. Never one to rest on its laurels, Toyota looks to continue pushing this bold crossover SUV into the future with the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime, a performance-driven model that is also the first-ever RAV4 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). When will the 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime be available to buy? Toyota plans to roll it out to dealerships like San Francisco Toyota in the summer of 2020. Design The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime will be offered in SE and XSE trims. It will carry many of the design elements from the redesigned 2019 version and the 2020 carryover, but it will add sporty features to make this bold RAV4 stand out even more. The SE grade offers 18-inch painted and machined alloy wheels as well as an exclusive front grille design and lower spoiler. You’ll find piano black accents along the exterior and a painted grille/diffuser to give it an overall elevated look. Standard heated front seats, a seven-inch Multi-Information Display, Blind Spot Monitor, a leather steering wheel, a power liftgate, and Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and Amazon Alexa compatibility round out the list of features offered with the SE trim. You can even opt for the available Weather & Moonroof Package to let in more of this wonderful Bay Area atmosphere. The RAV4 Prime XSE will offer a two-tone exterior paint scheme that tops the vehicle with a black roof and pairs it up with a variety of different colors. The 19-inch alloy wheels will be the largest wheels offered on a RAV4 hybrid model, and they will have a unique two-tone design as well. The vertical LED accent lights and the available Adaptive Front Lighting System will give the vehicle a standout appearance and functionality. Power specifications The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime will hammer out an estimated 302 horsepower and will have the ability to travel from zero to 60 mph in about 5.8 seconds. It will be able to drive an estimated 39 miles on its battery alone with one charge, which makes that the highest EV range of any of the PHEV SUVs available today. Its efficiency will be impressive as well, with Toyota estimating it to get as much as 90 combined MPGe. We have a few suggestions. more A Christmas Carol You can see the classic tale of Ebenezer Scrooge and his life-changing visit with spirits of Christmas performed live by a talented cast at Geary Theater. This performance is running on a number of different nights from now through December 23 rd, and you can get tickets for the show here. 2019 Lighted Boat Parade On Friday, December 13 th, take the whole family over to Aquatic Park, PIER 39, the Marina Green, or Crissy Field and watch the beautiful lighted holiday boat parade! The parade sets off at 6:00 p.m. and will last for about two hours. Christmas at Grace Cathedral If you want to infuse your holiday season with more musical Christmas cheer, enjoy Christmas at Grace Cathedral. Several different shows are on the offering, including a sing-along show for children and families as well as Handel’s Messiah performed by American Bach soloists. A Chanticleer Christmas Running December 10 th through the 23 rd, a Chanticleer Christmas gives families an opportunity to see this long-running a cappella group sing your holiday favorites. Bring the whole family to hear familiar tunes and even some new performances from the group. San Francisco Symphony: A Charlie Brown Christmas—Live! “Christmastime is here!” Can’t you just hear the Peanuts gang singing those words? You can experience the classic music from “A Charlie Brown Christmas” with a live performance from the San Francisco Symphony on December 21 st through the 23 rd at Davies Symphony Hall.
