How to clean your vehicle to help protect against COVID-19

C leaning your car interior to help disinfect from coronavirus There is no doubt that we are living through a unique and unprecedented health crisis with the coronavirus COVID-19 spreading rapidly throughout the country and the world. Many places, the San Francisco area included, are locking down with people being advised to stay at home to help prevent this from spreading further. Still, essential services are available, and you may need to cautiously venture out to get groceries or supplies, and you will need to make sure your vehicle is protected as well, since COVID-19 can last for hours or even a few day s on certain surfaces. Read ahead for some tips for cleaning your car interior to help disinfect from coronavirus. Please see our revised operating hours during the COVID-19 outbreak. Cleaners and disinfectants to use and to NOT use in your automobile We want to relay information from the real experts on this, and the best place where you can find a list of disinfectants and how to use them for this virus is from the Environmental Protection Agency ( EPA), and you can find it here. With that said, that is just a list that can be used on many surfaces, but not all of those can be used in your car. Bleach, ammonia, and hydrogen peroxide should NOT be used in your vehicle’s interior for this. Instead, turn to alcohol solutions containing at least 70% alcohol, which can be applied to just about any surface. Soap and water and the scr ubbing process with soap and water can also kill COVID-19, so you can carefully use a soap and water solution as well. Just be careful with the electronics and infotainment when you clean with alcohol or with soap and water. For those with leather seats, you will need to take extra care that vigorous cleaning won’t wear the leather down or ruin any dye jobs in the leather, so be sure to also treat your leather seats with a good leather cleaner aft er it has been disinfected. Also, whenever you clean, be sure to keep your hands protected from chemicals or alcohol that can dry up your skin and leave you vulnerable to other issues for that reason. How does the 2020 Tacoma TRD Pro air intake work?

What does the new Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro air intake do? Perhaps you have seen pictures or videos online or on TV showing the impressive off-road power and skill of the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro. If so, then chances are good that you saw the unique air intake. It does stand out like a sore thumb, after all, but in a good way! It’s not just a cool decoration; it does actually have a purpose! So, what does the Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro air intake do? Read ahead for some more details. The all-new Toyota RAV4 Prime is high-performing and efficient! How the air intake works on the Tacoma TRD Pro The Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro is not meant to just be used for daily grinds in the city streets. It’s a pickup truck that was meant to be taken on the roads less traveled, wherever adventure is imminent. Sometimes the Terrain off the beaten path can be full of loose gravel or dirt, and the mighty Tacoma tires can kick a lot of that up. What the truck’s special air intake does is offer an elevated air intake to essentially suck in cleaner air from higher up. Normally, the air intake of a vehicle is somewhere toward the front wheels and the undercarriage. Sometimes that area is obstructed by a cloud of dirt, which is why the air intake on the Tacoma TRD Pro is pulling the air to cool itself off from a higher, cleaner source. It’s all meant to prevent nasty air and particles from getting into the engine and causing damage. This air intake actually has a reversible head as well, so you can turn it around to avoid as much sand and dirt as possible, but also prevent snow from getting caked onto it if you run into a rough snowstorm while traveling north. Toyota tested this in a variety of conditions, with rain, snow, and dirt all giving it a beating, before making sure it was capable of taking in clean air. Is it okay to drive a Corolla when the fuel light is on?

How far can you drive a Toyota Corolla on empty? Picture this: You and your Toyota Corolla passed a gas station a couple of miles back, but you decided to skip it, even though your fuel gauge was just about pointing to empty. Now, you see a traffic jam up ahead, and just at that moment, your fuel light appears in the instrument panel, indicating you’re almost out. Is it time to panic? Will you be stranded on the road in a matter of minutes? How far can you drive a Toyota Corolla on empty? Read ahead for details. The new Toyota RAV4 Prime will take you far! What’s the range of a Corolla on empty? Of course, the range you will have in your Toyota Corolla while running on empty depends on the model year. With newer models being more efficient with their fuel usage, the newer the Corolla, the better chance you will have at making it a way on empty before it sputters to a halt. How long, exactly? It is estimated that with most recent Corolla models, you can drive about 45 miles while the fuel gauge is reading empty. With that being said, we do not recommend chancing it! Pay close attention to your fuel gauge and your surroundings. If you are starting to get to the bottom of the tank, plan a fuel stop for your commute. How long should you wait before refueling when you’re on empty? The best answer is to refuel immediately when your fuel gauge hits the EMPTY mark and/or the low fuel alert appears. Sure, there may be a little wiggle room, but it is not worth risking your safety or your car’s well-being. Driving on empty can be damaging to your vehicle because the fuel pump is pulling from the very bottom of the tank, which, being so low, might have some sediment settled, which can then clog the fuel pump and cause a pricey problem. The bottom line? Just fill ‘ er up right away when it’s that time. How long can you drive a Toyota RAV4 on empty?
