2021 Toyota Sienna passenger and cargo space

If you are helping to raise a big family in a busy life where you’re always on the go, a minivan is a desirable vehicle to have to help you along the way. One of the biggest reasons for that is the amount of space they provide for all passengers, not to mention the items that need to be taken along for the journey. Whether it’s picking the kids up from practice, heading to the store to get groceries, venturing out on a vacation getaway, or something in between, a minivan like the Toyota Sienna has what you need. Let’s go over the 2021 Toyota Sienna passenger and cargo space to see what you will have to work with.

2021 Sienna passenger volume

The 2021 Toyota Sienna can seat up to eight people, with an optional seven-passenger configuration available on some trims. In Sienna models with an available moonroof, total passenger volume comes out to 159.7 cubic feet, with that number bumping up to 162.5 cubic feet. Head room with the optional moonroof shakes out at 40 inches, while head room without the moonroof is 38.1 inches. As for leg room, you’ll have 40.3 inches in the first row, 39.9 inches in the second row, and 38.7 inches in the third row.

2021 Sienna cargo capacity

Cargo space is just as important in any minivan worth its salt, and the new Sienna delivers. If you need to bring the whole crew along and require all three rows of seating you still have 33.5 cubic feet of cargo space to work with. Don’t need that second row? Fold the third-row seats down and you will have 75.2 cubic feet of room to use behind the second row. Do you still need even more room for your items and don’t intend to use the second or third rows of seats? Fold them both down and enjoy a whopping 101 cubic feet of cargo capacity behind the first row. That gives you plenty of options for your cargo and luggage needs.
