Can you get rewards for driving clean vehicles in California?

California is a unique state in that it’s often ahead of the curve and on the cutting edge of innovation. Hollywood and Silicon Valley are located here, after all, and it’s home to many bright and creative innovators who are always seeing what can be done to make the world a better place. It makes sense, then, that California has special considerations for driving vehicles that are more environmentally friendly. Can you get rewards for driving clean vehicles in California? Absolutely, and here’s how.

San Francisco Toyota is proud to participate in the California Air Resources Board initiative of rewarding drivers of certain clean vehicles for their contributions to helping keep emissions down and our environment in better condition. We’re pleased to provide the California Clean Fuel Reward to those who lease or purchase the Toyota Prius Prime or the Toyota RAV4 Prime for drivers residing in California and with those vehicles being registered in California. The rebate for driving the Prius Prime is $900.11, while the rebate for driving the RAV4 Prime stands at $1,500.

Those rebates can also be combined with manufacturer rebates as well as items related to Clean Cars for All, the Clean Vehicle Assistance Program, the California Clean Vehicle Rebate, and other state, county, and energy rebates. Driving the Prius Prime or the RAV4 Prime really does pay!

The RAV4 Prime can go for up to 42 miles on electric-only power on a full charge, and it also happens to be the quickest RAV4 to date!
