Performance control in the new Toyota Sienna 

The 2021 Toyota Sienna offers EV, NORMAL, ECO, and SPORT driving modes. EV mode uses complete electric power at lower speeds for short distances. NORMAL mode, as the name implies, is the default mode that uses the hybrid drivetrain for standard everyday driving on city streets and highways. If you switch over to ECO mode, the Sienna will maximize the efficiency to get as much mileage as it can from the fuel and the battery. Finally, SPORT mode packs the drive with a bit more oomph, giving the hybrid powertrain an extra push for even better acceleration. 

Standard hybrid powertrain 

Across all models of the 2021 Toyota Sienna is a standard hybrid powertrain that is capable of getting an estimated 33 miles per gallon on combined city/highway roads. Drivers can use the Hybrid System Indicator located within the seven-inch color Multi-information Display in the instrument panel above the steering wheel to view the system output and regeneration status in order to shape the driving habits to become eco-friendlier and more efficient.
